Mark Ragunton is a Filipino-American born in Toronto, Canada, and raised and based in Dallas, TX. With a background in Engineering and a passion for social impact, he brings unique technical proficiency to his filmmaking process and a deep commitment to creating films that drive positive change.

Having worked on over 30 narrative projects, Mark is established as an expert in narrative filmmaking. His extensive experience allows him to help his collaborators push forward with tenacity. His passion for filmmaking drives him to actively support emerging and first-time filmmakers, helping them navigate the complexities of the industry and bring their unique stories to life.

As a multicultural filmmaker himself, he takes pride in intentionally collaborating with filmmakers of varying ethnic and cultural backgrounds, showcasing his versatility and commitment to inclusivity. His collaborations on these diverse works have garnered recognition at renowned festivals such as the Oscar Micheaux Black Film Festival, the Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival, the Chicago South Asian Film Festival, and more.

As an advocate for social change, Mark is the Impact Producer for Films Make Change, a nonprofit impact-centered production company. His mission is to merge the art of narrative filmmaking with philanthropy, emphasizing filmmaking’s potential to create positive social impact.

He is currently producing and shooting several narrative shorts in collaboration with local Dallas filmmakers and is in pre-production for two impact films under the Films Make Change banner.
